Rare Candy is an online marketplace for trading card game fans to buy and sell their collectibles to other members of the community. As a freelance content specialist, I write in-depth explainers about rare treasures from the Pokémon TCG to coincide with the platform’s upcoming premier auctions.
72Point
At 72Point, I worked with clients from brands, companies and PR agencies to conceptualize and produce news stories based on original consumer research done at OnePoll. We would then publish each piece directly to the SWNS newswire, a popular news gathering agency in the UK, so that other news publications could pick up the stories and post them to their own feeds.
Additionally, I also oversaw and edited stories from other members of the 72Point Team, and produced my own original survey-led content for the journalist-facing website, Talker.

At the end of every Valiant Comic issue is a one- to two-page editorial spread letting fans and readers know about upcoming projects, promotions, and other news. One of my duties at Valiant Entertainment was to lead the creation of these spreads, first by pitching and writing copy for approval by Editorial, and then by working with Production to plan the layout for the visual elements.
